Kerry FletcherDancer Performer Teacher Choreographer traditional dance, Kerry Fletcher is a traditional dancer of many styles, from waltzing to clogging. Her performance history includes: Broken Ankles - acclaimed Appalachian cloggers, The Stepback Project and The 4K Plot. She also co-choreographed & performed with The Chase and Shaking the Tradition at Chisenhale Dance Space, London. Most recently, her education work has been with Tapatak and TAPs (Traditional Arts Projects). With both of these organisations she provides foot percussion and English & American dance to their inter-cultural work. They have been developing and delivering workshops in schools, at festivals & community events and in immigration removal centres with refugees and asylum seekers. She is a visiting lecturer on the folk music degree course at Newcastle University and for several years she has been a tutor on the Folkworks summer schools. As well as running her own community dance workshops, she teaches at festivals & dance clubs all over the country, both solo and with Meridian, Tim Brooks and Ravi Sawney & Daniel Wolverson. Credits
