This innovative and dynamic trio combine percussion, sax and whistles with step dance, juggling and poi. They draw on music and dance traditions from the Americas and Africa, to their European homelands, creating a vibrant and energetic show juggling rhythms of hands and feet.

 

Individually, the members of Tapatak have wide and varied backgrounds - ranging from traditional music and dance to classical music and West End shows. They have been involved with projects and groups such as; Token Women, Freyja, Broken Ankles, Stepback, The Chase, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Glyndebourne Touring Opera, English National Ballet Orchestra, and the BBC Symphony Orchestra.
