This testimonial comes from Sarah, mother of Daniel, Lee and Oliver.

AIT, what is AIT? I didn't have a clue until I began cutting Tracy and her family’s hair. After knowing Tracy for eight years, it was to her I turned when I was banging my head against the wall trying to get someone to recognise that my middle son Lee had behaviour problems and learning difficulties. I knew he had ADHD; I had every book written about it, but no one else would listen apart from Tracy. ‘Bring him for a course of AIT,’ she said. 'I can help you. You will notice the difference.'

My son changed almost overnight after the 10-day treatment. The recommendation and the AIT from Tracy led me on my way to the Powers That Be, who finally decided that yes, Lee had ADHD. It was a weight off my shoulders to hear the diagnosis. Lee has now left school and is a stable, happy 17-year-old with a lovely girlfriend and a job; he is also learning to drive. None of these, I think, would have been achieved without AIT.

When I began to notice a familiar pattern with my third and youngest son Oliver (11 years old) I knew exactly who to turn to, and yes, she had noticed too. Once again a course of AIT treatment was given: sitting for an hour a day for 10 days (weekends free), with a set of headphones on, listening to a different selection of calming, weird and sometimes whacky (as Oliver described it) music. Oliver found AIT exciting and an adventure for the first few days, but by day 6 or 7 it was beginning to be a chore for him. Tracy convinced him to persevere. Tracy has a great Aladdin's cave of toys, puzzles and brain teasers for her AIT ‘victims’ to play with whilst they are listening. I observed Oliver getting more confident and competent with these as the 10-day course progressed. His behaviour and mannerisms had begun to change from day 2 or 3 of treatment. He began to sleep for longer at night, not get angry with a game he could not complete, taste food properly – so therefore he started to eat more, and enjoy it.

Since finishing the treatment he has begun to understand people’s feelings a little more, and now tells me that a few people, especially teachers, have ‘changed’. It is in fact Oliver who has changed, and for the better.

Oliver is currently awaiting a diagnosis for something that has baffled me, as he does not have ADHD, my original suspicion. It is in fact Asperger’s that he has, and since reading countless articles and books about this condition I have realised that they were, in my eyes, written about my little boy.

Now, who was it that originally told me Oliver has Asperger’s? Tracy - kind, lovely, wonderful, patient caring, bouncy, loud, proud and brimming with confidence - Tracy. A big ‘THANK YOU’ to Tracy for helping, listening and understanding me and my tribe for so long. My boys and I would not have survived without Tracy or AIT.

So what is AIT?
AIT is MAGIC!
